Description (RNL) - Robert Levi Collection - This collection consists of mateials collected by the great-grandson (Robert Levi), of San Diego pioneers Adolph and Eleanora Levi. Adolph was one of five brothers who came to San Diego in the second half of the 19th century. He was a merchant, rancher, livery owner and real estate owner with businesses and holdings throughout San Diego County. He and his family were and continue to be prominent members of the community. Robert Levi wrote a book about his great-grandfather in 2004. This collection contains copies of primary source documents with timelines created by Robert Levi and well as some materials about later generations of the family.
