(EFS) 37 Audio tapes of interviews of Mexican Jews in Tijuana and San Diego from the mid 1990's in Spanish conducted by Elena Saad. "La Comunidad Israelita de Tijuana" Handwritten and printed materials regarding her research on the Jews of Tijuana.
This research was conducted for work on a Master's thesis.
Most of the materials are in Spanish. Descriptions in English were done by Marilyn Tom.

Elena Fishman de Saad was born in Mexico City. Her husband is Moises Saad. In Mexico she raised four children and then began her studies, receiving a graduate degree in history from the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico in 1977. The family came to San Diego in 1982 and Saad began studies for a Master's Degree at UCSD. She presented papers at various academic conferences in Latin America and the United States.
